Everyone calls me Judy. I live in the countryside at a little crossroads called Caldwell in North Carolina just outside of Hillsborough, a small town with a history as old and diverse as our nation itself.
My husband of 58 years and I have walked over many a resting place searching for a loved one or just reading poignant inscriptions that we find on the beautiful markers. I have a great interest in genealogy research and love to share the excitement of a newly found tidbit of information on my family's history. It excites me also to help others find that missing piece linking them to someone they knew of, but didn't know!
I am the author of six blogs:
Genealogy Traces,
Cemeteries with Texas Ties,
Cemeteries of the Covered Bridges,
Food Gratitude,
Tennessee Memories, and
MWHS Mountaineer Heritage Park Blog.
Genealogy Traces and Tennessee Memories each highlight Family Names that I am researching so I will not list them here.
Beautiful. Love the quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
